Doing an honest review of Holiday Dreams won’t be hard because we loved it. The event sounded really fun, and I knew my son would love it, but I had no idea how much. I have a loud kid. He laughs loudly, he cheers loudly, and he has all the main character energy. This is why I LOVE shows like Holiday Dreams, where they encourage cheering and give the loud kids a chance to shine. He didn’t get to be a main character (we were too far back to be picked!), but he loved the cheering. When they came out and told us “the louder we were, the better they would be,” we were hooked.

review of Holiday Dreams

The day of the performance, it snowed ALL DAY! It snowed so much that I was worried about the roads, but the snow stopped, and the roads were good to drive on. We arrived at TCU Place as the door opened, and it was already full of excited guests. These are the kinds of Christmas events I love with my son. Everybody is happy and excited, and ready for some unique festive fun.

This show had it all. From the very beginning, they had the audience laughing. It didn’t matter the age, we knew we were there for the fun, and all enjoyed the humour. We were amazed by the cirque performers, intrigued by the lasers, and loved the magic of Christmas they all brought to the stage. There were many moments when my son turned to me with wonder and said, “How are they doing that?”

Every aspect of the show was fantastic. It made for a late night, but was worth it for our family. We can’t wait for Holiday Dreams to return to Saskatoon.
