1. Friday BBQ at the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum
The Saskatchewan Aviation Museum holds Friday BBQs! $14 will get you museum admission, a burger, a bag of chips and a pop.
2. SaskExpress Touring Saskatchewan Provincial Parks
SaskExpress is touring Saskatchewan Provincial Parks with a new musical showcase called Lost in a Musical. Friday, see them at Duck Mountain Provincial Park at Ministik Beach. On Saturday find them at Greenwater Lake Provincial Park. Sunday, you can catch a show at Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park.
3. Sasktel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival
This year’s festival will feature free programming followed by ticketed programming. Free programming will be at Victoria Park on Saturday and Sunday and at Pop-Up locations throughout the city.
4. Your Guide To Farmers’ Markets in Saskatoon and Area
This weekend, check out some of the local finds in our beautiful city. We’ve got a list of some of the markets across the city.
5. Fun in the Water
Don’t forget the spray pads have opened and outdoor pools are ready for you to cool off in! (We’re crossing our fingers that the weather works out!) Or if you’re looking for a lake, we know some great ones close to Saskatoon and we have a list of the places you can find Saskatchewan Aquatic Adventures.
6. Buggin’ Out in the Park
On Sunday, join a community event in Montgomery Park, hosted by local birth and postpartum doulas! You will find vendors, family-fun, and a chance to connect and find a community.
7. SKribe Youth Poetry Festival
The free SKribe Youth Poetry Festival is a perfect way to celebrate youth poetry! It’s on from Thursday to Sunday.
But Wait… There is More Weekend Fun!
Why not take the whole family to an indoor play place to burn off some steam or check out some Playgrounds in Saskatoon! You can also cool off with some ice cream at some of the amazing Saskatoon Ice Cream Shops.
