Warm up your throwing arms and plan a night to cheer on the Blades. Join the Saskatoon Blades for the traditional WHL Teddy Bear Toss this December. The Blades will host the Regina Pats for the annual Teddy Bear Toss just after Christmas, and you are invited to bring new or gently used teddy bears to the event. After the first Blades goal, fly your teddy bear over the glass and onto the ice. All bears will be donated within Saskatoon. Imagine the excitement as thousands of bears hit the ice after the first goal by your favourite team.
Teddy Bear Toss Tradition
Soar Stuffies soar! The Teddy Bear Toss is one of the best traditions in junior hockey! All 22 WHL clubs will host one of the beloved specialty games, and more than two dozen charities will benefit in each club’s home. Your family will find a combination of holiday cheer and community spirit, mixed with sportsmanship during an exciting game.
