Hit the Stage With Disney’s Free Virtual Theatre Curriculum

Singing, dancing, and performing – the arts are helping sustain us all through the COVID-19 crisis. Now, kids ages 8 – 15 can explore a FREE, virtual course from Disney Theatrical Productions, Disney on Broadway. This immersive arts experience is available to anyone who wants to learn music theatre skills from home!

The Lion King Experience has been adapted as a theatre education program meant for children to perform their own small-scale adaptations of the show. These now unlocked at-home video sessions offer course layouts of eleven sessions for students ages 8 – 11 years, and eighteen sessions for students ages 12 – 15 years. The courses come with supplementary materials, too. Let the show begin!

In 2012, after nearly 2 decades of fundraising for BC universities, Lindsay Follett was ready for a change of pace and came on board as the City Editor of Family Fun Vancouver.
