The significance of Douglas Day is to highlight that on November 19, 1858, Sir James Douglas proclaimed the Colony of British Columbia in the Fort Langley Big House. Join the Fort Langley heritage presenters to learn more about James Douglas and his impact on BC’s history.

Admission details : $7.90/adult; $6.60/senior. Free admission for youth 17 and under and annual pass holders.

In 2012, after nearly 2 decades of fundraising for BC universities, Lindsay Follett was ready for a change of pace and came on board as the City Editor of Family Fun Vancouver. For 10 years she, together with her husband and their two sons, explored every possible family-friendly event and found constant enjoyment in sharing their adventures with the Family Fun Vancouver audience. In 2014, Lindsay took on the additional role as our National Sales and Marketing Director.
