Kensington Sinfonia (Family Fun Calgary)

Exposing your children to the world of classical music is much easier when you get FREE admission for children 12 and under!

Bring your children to an afternoon of beautiful chamber music on Mother’s Day. A Mother’s Day treat, the final concert of the Kensington Sinfonia’s 2018/19 season will present Reverie – the music of dreams and fantasy.

This concert honours the creative expressions of female composers with pieces by Wu Man, Angela Morley, and Canadians Norma Beecroft and Sophie-Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatté.

The concert also features the young winner of this year’s Kensington Sinfonia Concerto Competition – 14-year-old Isabelle Robinson and 13 -year-old Anna Stube. They will both be performing selections from Vivaldi’s iconic “Four Seasons”.
