Expose Your Kids (For FREE!) to Classical Music: Kensington Sinfonia

Kensington Sinfonia (Family Fun Calgary)

Exposing your children to the world of classical music is much easier when you get FREE admission for children 12 and under!

Bring your children to an afternoon of beautiful string music with Calgary’s original string ensemble, Kensington Sinfonia. On February 3, 2019, Kensington Sinfonia will be joined by the talented young students of Amici String Program to explore folk music seen through a Classical lens – Antonín Dvořák incorporating Bohemian folk idioms into his String Serenade, Sir Ernest MacMillan honouring French Canadian traditional music, and American Steven Snowden’s take on Appalachian folk.

Joyful music presented with the inspiring energy of the future stars of Calgary’s Classical scene, this concert is the perfect remedy for mid-Winter blues.
