One of our family’s favourite free activities is to spend an afternoon checking out new showhomes! My husband and I have both worked in the home-building industry and been through the new home building process twice ourselves, so we love seeing different floorplans, exploring new decor trends and learning about up-and-coming developments around the city.
The kids enjoy looking at the houses for the most part, but the deal is always sweetened if we can hit it during a Showhome Event where there are kids activities, giveaways and delicious food. Best of all, these events are usually totally FREE to enjoy!
