The Lac Ste. Anne Métis Community Association’s second annual Mâmawihitowin Summer Gathering returns to Heritage Park in Stony Plain on July 26, 2025! Named after the Cree word for “gathering of peoples,” this vibrant celebration of Métis culture features live music, Métis jigging, horse and wagon rides, an Indigenous vendor market, free bannock, arts & craft demonstrations, a kids’ zone, and more—all hosted by comedian Lars Calliou, with free admission and exciting door prizes!
