When is a camp MORE than just a summer camp??? When it’s CHANGE Adventure Camp! At first glance, it probably looks like a lot of other summer day camps for kids aged 9-12 – there’s outdoor activities, like hiking, obstacle courses, and fort building, plus some really cool options like geocaching, parkour and yoga. At CHANGE, adventure starts when campers get outside and into nature, without devices, phones, or game consoles.

CHANGE goes beyond physical literacy and nature awareness – campers learn the importance of fueling their bodies for the adventures that await. Healthy eating, meal preparation and cooking classes are included, and kids get to prepare and enjoy their own healthy lunches each day while at camp. The goal at CHANGE is to get kids started on the right path to a lifetime of healthy living and outdoor activity.

CHANGE offers 8 weeks of summer day camps, from July 3 to August 24, 2018. Camps run from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday at 3 locations in the capital region: McDougall School in Edmonton, Lion’s Log Cabin in Spruce Grove, and the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens near Devon.
