Cree Crafts

Enjoy an evening of Cree Crafts and storytelling in one of Alberta’s most beautiful natural settings, Elk Island National Park! Cree artists Marge and Cassandra Johnson will lead participants through unique crafting sessions. During the event the mother-daughter duo will share information about Cree culture and the significance of the chosen craft. After crafting, roast bannock over a fire, top it with some homemade jam and enjoy snack and stories with new friends! The craft sessions cost $20 per person with a valid park pass. Pre-registration is required and each event is capped at 25 participants.
