There’s a brand new feature exhibition open at the Royal Alberta Museum that will really get your engine revving! Drive: Reimagining the Ride features some of the vehicles that help us work, play and move.
Drive: Reimagining the Ride will feature twelve spectacular vehicles brought together on loan from the the Reynolds-Alberta Museum and Remington Carriage Museum. Spanning in age from 1890’s to the 1990’s, these unique vehicles highlight man’s ingenuity on wheels. See the solar-powered Nanook, an amphicar that travels on both land and water, and the Bricklin SV-1 sportscar that inspired the DeLorean.
Make sure your visit also includes a pit stop in the hands-on Tinker Garage. This family friendly space is filled with supplies and inspiration for your own vehicle creations and artwork. Each month will feature a new and exciting activity like this month’s tire tread art!
