Celebrate Learning in the Great Outdoors with this year’s Family Literacy Carnival. The Centre for Family Literacy invites you to join them online Sunday, January 30, 2022 for a variety of fun and interactive activities that support literacy development. Grab your favourite stuffed animal and come explore the great outdoors through online rhymes, storytime and family yoga.
Session 1 | 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
For families with young children, this hour will focus on sharing books for the 0-3 year old child, a family yoga session, and time to sing rhymes and tell a story.
Session 2 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
During this hour, your 4-6+ year old child will enjoy a variety of books and storytelling about the Great Outdoors, plus some yoga exercises to participate in as a family.
Choose from one of two sessions (or both) – register for free via Eventbrite to receive the Zoom call link and be entered to win a selection of children’s books. Have fun together as a family and learn how to make literacy a fun part of a daily routine!
