The three-day high-energy event will have everything from video games and board games, cosplay and esports, to celebrity appearances, panel discussions, and huge new release announcements!

Game Con Canada is proud to be Canada’s LARGEST gaming expo! This amazing interactive showcase will take over the Edmonton EXPO Centre and immerse visitors in over 300,000 square feet of gaming excitement. Here, you can experience all the latest and greatest in gaming with exclusive product reveals, tech and game demos, and video game tournaments. Come ready to shop the unique vendor market, explore new board games, and leave time to join in the celebrity panels and gaming sessions.
This year will also feature multiple esport tournaments held on the Memory Express Mega Stage a 118 foot by 24 foot 9k LED wall! For those who prefer more traditional gameplay, there will also be table-top gaming tournaments with thousands in cash and retail prizes. Cheer on your favourites and make a new friend or two as you participate in this full weekend of world-class gaming!

Cosplayers unite. Join in the fun by transforming into your favourite character and competing for the largest cash prize in Canada! The GCC Cosplay Competition is open to everyone, with 4 tiers of competition ranging from Novice and Journeyman up to Masters Class and Best of the Best. This is your chance to get creative and be part of the unique fan-fuelled atmosphere.

May 24 – June 2 | Still not sure what to expect at Game Con Canada? Everyone is invited for a sneak peek of the experience at the GCC Raceway in West Edmonton Mall. This is your chance to come meet the Game Con Canada team and enjoy FREE Mario Kart 8 action on a massive 10×10 foot LED wall at Centre Stage.
