Bid adieu to summer, and the sheep, at the Fort Saskatchewan Sheep Leaving Parade! The sheep that spend the summer in Fort Saskatchewan are leaving for their winter home, but not without a little fanfare first. Join in the fun on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Fort Heritage Precinct. Come for noon to feed the sheep (apples and carrots provided by the City), grab a custom caricature print and then stay for the parade as they are shepherded through the downtown core. There will be fun in the park too, don’t forget to tag your “sheepies” (that’s selfies with the sheep) for the photo contest – @cityfortsask and @fortheritageprecinct, and hashtag #fssheep!
