“Happiness is singing in a choir.” (unknown) Kokopelli Choirs is set to return to the Winspear Centre stage to deliver their signature Stories concert. The annual concert’s theme provides a broad choral canvas to explore significant moments, perspectives and traditions through song. At the concert’s finale, voices from the seven ensembles will come together en masse to perform three contemporary First Nations compositions by Cree-Dene artist Sherryl Sewepagaham.
Based in Edmonton, Kokopelli Choirs is a community choir family. They offer musical growth and performance opportunities through seven choirs for singers aged 5 to adult and early childhood music experiences for preschoolers.
