It’s a staple in Fort Saskatchewan every summer. A flock of sheep that naturally trims and, ahem, fertilizes the grass in the community. Help welcome them back with the City of Fort Saskatchewan Family Festival and Return of the Sheep party on Saturday, June 4, 2022!
Whether you’re a Fort Saskatchewan resident, or a visitor, you’re invited to participate in family fun activities, and enjoy some fabulous entertainment. Local community bands, vocalists, family-friendly drag queens, and dancers will be on stage at the Legacy Park Band Shell throughout the afternoon. Plus visitors can enjoy disc golf, face painting, glitter tattoos, bouncy castles, a petting zoo, a video game truck and plenty of delicious food from local food trucks. And, of course, don’t miss the highlight of the day at 12 pm, as the sheep parade up from the river valley to their summer home in Peter T. Ream Historic Park.
