It’s a staple in Fort Saskatchewan every summer. A flock of sheep that naturally trims and, ahem, fertilizes the grass in the community. Help welcome them back with the Legacy Park Family Festival and Return of the Sheep party on Saturday, June 1, 2019!
Whether you’re a Fort Saskatchewan resident, or a visitor, you’re invited to participate in family fun activities, and enjoy fabulous entertainment. Local community bands, vocalists, and dancers will be on stage at the Legacy Park Band Shell. Feeling peckish? Stop for a snack at the many food and treat booths run by local youth organizations. And of course, don’t miss the highlight of the day at 11:30am, as the sheep parade up from the river valley to their summer home in Peter T. Ream Historic Park.
