The University of Alberta Botanic Garden is a lovely place to spend Mother’s Day. See traditional, festive Koinobori (Japanese carp flags) flying in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden. Stroll through the Aga Khan Garden. From 10 am – 2 pm you can enjoy live music from musicians Ryu Yokoo (guitar) and Terry McDade (concert harp). Plus, all moms will receive a free gift (while supplies last).
Plus, you can pre-order brunch boxes for a yummy picnic in mom’s honour. Brunch Box Packages include an individual box with an assortment of sweet and savoury brunch offerings, a non-alcoholic beverage and admission to the Garden. Plus, add-ons are available, like smoked salmon with cream cheese and baguettes, mimosa kits, picnic blankets, handmade personalized cards and flower bouquets.
