Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects Exhibit is coming to the Edmonton Valley Zoo this summer. From May to early September, visitors will be able to experience larger-then-life animal sculptures built from everyone’s favourite block shaped toy – LEGO! It will be a fun and whimsical edition to all the other great animals and features available throughout the zoo.

The Nature Connects Lego Exhibit is a series nature-inspired sculptures created by world-renowned artist Sean Kenney. Made entirely of LEGO bricks, each of the 13 different hand-made sculptures is sure to spark a sense of wonder and imagination. See a jeweled chameleon, experience a brilliant coral reef, marvel at a disappearing rhino and more! This exhibit is sure to bring a joyful sense of wonder for all ages while begging us to explore how everything interconnects – both in the LEGO bricks and in the natural world around us.

Stay tuned for more details. We love LEGO and we love visiting the zoo, so I personally can’t wait for this one!
