The City of Edmonton New Year’s Eve celebration is one of the best ways to ring in 2025! Enjoy your choice of two firework displays at 8 pm and midnight, plus a full evening of programming including skating at City Hall plaza, live music, immersive light installations, roving circus acts, bonfires, maple taffy, on-site food trucks, and more. PLUS warm up with more free activities happening in the arts district and along Rice Howard Way including a showing of The Princess Bride at the Stanley A. Milner Library, free crafting fun and live music at the Art Gallery of Alberta, a Family DJ Dance Party at the Citadel Theatre, and interactive percussion play at the Winspear Centre.
