Strathcona County Parent Link is thinking outside the park this summer! They’re testing out an innovative way of learning through play using the concept of adventure playgrounds. On Monday evenings, (July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 12 & 19, 2019) from 5 pm to 7 pm, they’ll be set up in the field behind Jean Vanier Catholic School in Sherwood Park. They’ll be providing unconventional materials and tools (think logs, tires, rope and more) to let kids freely build, explore, imagine and create. Parents should understand that this environment is designed to involve some risk.
