City of Edmonton FREE drop-in Winter Recreation programs are back at several River Valley parks to help your family enjoy time together outdoors this winter. Join program leaders on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons for FREE recreational programming at Castle Downs Park, Rundle Park, Victoria Park, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park. Programming includes snow fort building, snowshoeing, kick sledding, ice bikes (Laurier Park ONLY), orienteering, and hot chocolate by the fire. FREE Drop-In Winter Recreation with the City of Edmonton:
When: Fridays & Saturdays from December 30, 2023 to March 30, 2024
Time: Fridays 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Saturdays 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Free hot chocolate and warming fires starting at 6:00 pm)
Locations: All programs will take place next to the ice skating surfaces.
