Fulfill your child’s flair for the dramatic this summer with the help of St. Albert Children’s Theatre Summer Drama Camps. Here, participants of all ages can take cues from seasoned theatre professionals and learn everything needed to act and perform on stage. These camps are an immersive theatrical experience that includes singing, acting, and movement alongside plenty of encouragement and fun!
Summer Drama Camps are available from ages 3 to 19 years and open to all experience levels. Young participants will enjoy games, movement exercises and use imaginative play to strengthen cognitive development and encourage teamwork. Older students can then build on this foundation as they learn acting, singing, and improv skills which will be showcased in a final presentation implementing some technical elements.
For kids that are more comfortable behind the scenes, there is the opportunity to expand their experience and scope of knowledge with the Theatre Production Camp. Here, participants will work closely with a designer and technicians to create the technical elements necessary to support the 12-19 year Drama Camp presentation.
