After undergoing a 12-week redevelopment the Telus World of Science’s New Environment Gallery is now open! Bring your family down to see the new exhibits, including the centerpiece Science on a Sphere — a 6-foot diameter projection system used by staff scientists to visually enhance presentations on environmental science. The new gallery also features areas focusing on four different themes: Ice Detectives, Rock Hounds, Eco Explorers, and Storm Trackers. Each area is full of interactive displays that will help curious visitors of all ages learn about environmental science.
The new gallery also features several Citizen Science Projects and details ways people can become involved in ongoing projects as part of their daily lives. All exhibits in the new Environment Gallery are included with regular admission to the Telus World of Science.
