This summer TELUS World of Science – Edmonton is excited to welcome kids to explore and discover a variety of fun space and science-themed day camps. School may be out, but FUN is definitely IN! And, at the Science Centre, the fun includes a bit of learning, too. During the summer, kids from Grades 1 to 7 can choose from several unique camps covering a wide range of topics, including Space and Astronomy, Nature, Engineering and Math, Coding, Tinkering, and more. There is also a fantastic leadership program for older students in Grades 8-12!
These Summer Science Camps are a great opportunity for your child to explore areas of science they never knew existed or grow in their love for learning in the STEAM fields (science, technology, engineering, art, math). With several unique themes, there is something to appeal to every child’s interests and ensure they are having fun. Campers will dive into hands-on activities connected to their camp theme and enjoy exciting shows in the IMAX Theatre, the Zeidler Dome, and the Syncrude Science Stage. Each day includes time outdoors (weather permitting), opportunities to explore the galleries, and the week ends with a Fun Friday celebration.
Summer camps will run weekly from June 29 to August 21, 2026, in your choice of 4 and 5-day camps. Pre-care & post-care can be added for additional convenience, as well as a daily hot lunch option from The Purple Pear Restaurant.

Grades 1-2 Camps
Cool Creators
Create something cool in this exciting maker camp that combines engineering and art. Campers will have the opportunity to blend design, technology, construction, and art to create something unique. Working with a variety of building and fine art materials, they will build quirky contraptions and dynamic artwork straight out of their own imagination!
Curious Kids
Let the science experts take over answering the never-ending stream of questions from your curious kid! This camp will have your child investigating their favourite STEAM topics through biology, chemistry, engineering, art, and math. Campers should come prepared to get messy and have fun with exciting activities such as programming robots, creative building challenges, chemistry experiments, and uncovering the wonders of the natural world.
Mighty Makers
Create wild contraptions all week long with this camp for kids who love to build! Campers will design, build, test, and demolish using a wide range of tools and materials. Everyone will have fun building innovative new gadgets, applying engineering principles to build the tallest towers, and competing in fun LEGO building challenges.
Tech Tinkerers
Campers will dive into hands-on exploration by taking apart, building, and experimenting with an array of tech-inspired tools and activities. From working with simple circuits and gadgets to tackling inventive problem-solving challenges, this camp is perfect for kids who enjoy tinkering and figuring out how things work.
Wild Wonders
Discover the beauty of the natural world with this exciting nature-focused camp. Campers will spend the week exploring the outdoors, collecting samples of plants, soil, and insects, and discovering hidden wonders through microscopes. They will enjoy learning about ecosystems, diversity and pollinators and will have fun working together to build a bee or insect hotel.
Grades 3-4 Camps
Clever Coders SOLD OUT
Campers will love discovering all the fun and interactive ways to problem solve through coding at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. They will have fun using the on-site technology to learn the language of coding, build their own video games, and program robots. This fun and engaging camp offers a glimpse into the real-world applications of coding and encourages your child to tap into their boundless creativity with technology.
Eager Engineers SOLD OUT
Young creative minds will be put to the test at this camp focused on the world of engineering. Campers will learn the importance of problem-solving as they design, build, and test a range of engineering marvels like flying devices, rollercoasters, Rube Goldberg machines, and bridges!
Nature enthusiasts will love this camp that brings together science, nature, and fun! Campers will spend time exploring outdoors and discovering the connection between humans, animals and plants in our urban environment. Hands-on activities will help students investigate and understand our urban ecosystems, while providing insight into how they can help protect nature.

Your Jr Scientist will never be bored as they discover all aspects of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) in new and exciting ways! There will be something for everyone with hands-on experiments and scientific discoveries that fuel passion and ignite curiosity in all the realms of science.

Campers will get to try hands-on experiments, take on design challenges, and work on projects that blend scientific concepts with art. By exploring different materials and looking to nature and movement for inspiration, campers will see how these two exciting areas connect.
Grades 5-7 Camps

Learn coding language and skills in a fun and exciting way during Megabytes camp! Using cutting-edge interactive technology, campers will learn to program robots, discover Artificial Intelligence, solve digital puzzles, and create video games. Grades 8-12 Camp LIT Program
Science Camp Leaders in Training
Youth aged 13 to 17 are invited to build their leadership skills with this exciting program at the Science Centre. Leaders in Training (LIT) offers the opportunity to share your passion for science through hands-on experience working with children, and opportunities to work on program development and presentation strategies.
