It’s a rare chance to see an internationally acclaimed circus company perform a FREE outdoor show for audiences of all ages! On Sunday, August 12, 2018, catch Truck Stop: The Great Journey performed in Kinsmen Park by Quebec circus company Machine de Cirque.
Truck Stop: The Great Journey tells the tale of a group of campers on a thrill-seeking cross-country adventure. It’s one of the 200 projects funded through the Canada Council for the Arts’ New Chapter program – a $35-million investment to support the creation and sharing of the arts in communities across Canada.
Edmonton’s Firefly Theatre & Circus is presenting the show. The 50-minute outdoor performance is suitable for all ages. Seating is general admission – bring your own picnic blanket or lawn chair.
