At the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, explore the living history museum, where interpreters bring history to life by explaining the lives of actual pioneers! Hear stories of solitude, survival, and perseverance as you discover how Ukrainian immigration has significantly shaped Alberta’s cultural identity.
Adults and children alike will love exploring building replicas like a blacksmith shop, a lumber store, a provincial police station, schools, churches, a livery barn, and more!
Ukrainian Village Historical Children’s Program
This summer, kids aged 6-12 can spend a week exploring and learning what life was like for early Ukrainian settlers in our province. These fun and exciting summer camps are open to everyone and offer a bit of everything with baking, crafts, scavenger hunts, animal interactions and more! For more information, click here.
