In Edmonton, we don’t have gardens full of colourful flowers . . . yet. And lets be honest, they won’t look like this even in the peak of our growing season! In the Netherlands, tulip gardens are in full bloom, but not many can see them due to social distancing measures. The annual Keukenhof Flower Exhibit will not be able to publicly open in 2020, so they are sharing virtual tours of their stunning tulip gardens on Youtube for all to enjoy. One day, I’d love to visit the Netherlands in person because all four of my grandparents immigrated from there in the 1900’s. But until then, being able to watch these live tours will do the trick to lift my spirits with hopes of spring!
