Snow tubing is becoming more popular, and we’ve discovered some great spots in Edmonton where you can try it with your family this winter. Kids and adults alike will enjoy racing down the smooth chutes at these ski hills, and the special lifts make it easy to get back up for another run!

The hills are open depending on the weather, so please check each site’s closure policy before you go. Since this is an outdoor activity, wear clothes and footwear that suit the weather, and bring a helmet if you have one. Every location supplies snow tubes, and you can rent a helmet if needed.

Edmonton Ski Club

Try sliding down the hill at The Tube Park, located in the heart of the city. This gentle hill is great for families and anyone new to snow tubing. Ride down in the provided tubes, then use the magic carpet to get back to the top and go again. Tubing is open Friday to Sunday, depending on the weather, and costs $17.50 per person. Kids 4 and under can ride for free when they share a tube with a paying adult.

It is recommended that you book your 1-hour time slot online in advance. Helmets are mandatory for all tubers.
