AfterWords Literary Festival Halifax Book Crawl

Do you have a ferocious reader or an aspiring writer in your house? Bring them to celebrate the fourth annual AfterWords Festival with a Book Crawl!

The Festival itself will take place from Saturday, September 24 to Sunday, October 2, 2022. It offers a mix of readings, conversations, celebratory events, and public workshops for aspiring professional writers.

The celebratory Book Crawl is a free event that will precede the Afterwords Festival, and it is open to all ages! The crawl begins at the Central Library on Spring Garden Road at 5:15pm on Saturday, July 9. The next stops will be Atlantic News, Bookmark, and Venus Envy to browse special deals, and hang out together. Come meet your fellow readers and celebrate our return to in-person programming. This free event is open to all, but be sure to register for your ticket in advance,
