Caribou Clatter and Reindeer Matter: Did you know that Caribou and Reindeer get their energy from eating lichen and moss? Join the experts at Shubenacadie Wildlife Park to learn more about Santa’s hardest working helpers. From 1:00pm to 3:00pm there will be information and activities about reindeer and lichens. At 2:30pm, there will be hot chocolate and even a visit from Santa himself!
Santa is on a tight schedule this time of year so he can only spend a few minutes with visitors before he heads into the park to feed his hungry reindeer. The public are welcome to watch the feeding live at the reindeer enclosure at 3:00 pm.
