For a child or young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a busy movie theatre can be a frightening environment. Cineplex has teamed up with Autism Speaks Canada to provide a showing of a film every 4-6 weeks in an ASD-friendly atmosphere. Cineplex Sensory Friendly Screenings are presented in a light-up, sound-down environment. The best part? The ticket price for all movie-goers is the same as a child admission price.
