Join the Friends of McNabs Island for a guided hike through Canadian history on McNabs Island! Departing from Eastern Passage (Meet at A&M Sea Charters, 87 Government Wharf Rd, Fisherman’s Cove no later than 9:15 AM), the boat will depart promptly at 9:30 AM and leave the island at 3:30 PM to return to Eastern Passage by 4:00 PM.
It is recommended that you dress for the weather and the island environment. We suggest you wear sturdy sneakers or hiking boots as the island’s trails are rough in some places. Visitors should expect to walk at least 5 km on this hike. Bring sunscreen, sunhats, insect repellent, plenty of drinking water, and a lunch. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
Everyone must get their tickets in advance and tickets are still needed for babies and toddlers 3 years and younger, who will travel for free, courtesy of the Friends of McNabs Island.
