The 2019 Nova Scotia Celebration of Nature is taking place at Liscombe Lodge from May 24th – 26th. You can explore the beautiful Eastern Shore through a wide variety of presentations, activities and field trips lead by some of the Province’s best naturalists.
The youth program includes a guided boat ride up the St. Mary’s River, as well as, workshops from Gary Schneider of Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry Project and Sean Haughian from the Museum of Natural History.
You can register for a full weekend package, including accommodation and meals, or you can just come for the day. Details about the weekend and the youth program including registration can be found on the Nature Nova Scotia website.
Registration is required and spots are limited. Nature Nova Scotia also has a limited number of $50 bursaries available for youth (ages 7-12) on the full weekend package.
