The HR MacMillan Space Centre invites you to Black Holes: Family Night.
Few celestial objects fascinate and continue to mystify scientists as much as black holes. Enjoy a family-friendly evening at the Space Centre and learn about black holes, the answers still being sought about them, and the incredible technological feats we have achieved to learn about them.
Enjoy a show in the Planetarium Star Theatre, and learn about black holes, the life cycle of stars and gravitational waves. Explore the exhibit space in the Cosmic Courtyard, take in a live science demonstration in the GroundStation Canada Theatre and check out the telescope in the Observatory (viewing weather dependent).
This event is recommended for ages 10+.

6:30pm – 7:45pm: explore the Cosmic Courtyard Gallery and watch a live science demonstration in the Ground Station Canada theatre
8:00pm – 9:00pm: Planetarium Star Theatre show
9:00 pm– 9:30pm: visit the Observatory
