If you’re looking to nurture your child’s artistic potential this summer, look no further than Camp Monarch. At Camp Monarch, your child will receive an immersive arts experience that combines creativity, skill-building, and a whole lot of fun! Camp Monarch offers exceptional arts education for children ages 5-12 from July 10-21, 2023.

Erin Deighton, Founder, and Director, has been running Camp Monarch for the past 20 years with a focus on creating an encouraging environment where children are motivated to reach their full potential in the arts. Using the Orff-Schulwerk approach to arts education, instructors use music, movement, drama, and speech in play experiences. Campers will participate in a combination of daily classes in art, dance, drama, music and theatre, as they put together an incredible show for family and friends. Each camper learns the skills to put on every aspect of a show; they make their own set, props, and costumes, create a live art exhibit and provide the musical accompaniment for the show– in addition to singing, dancing, and acting in the show! In doing so, campers get the full experience of what goes into professional theatre.

Camp Monarch runs 9am-3pm from July 10-21st. Before and After Camp Care is available starting at 8am, and ending at 5pm. During the camps, students will be divided into smaller groups depending on age and experience so each camper can experience optimal personal growth. The culminating performance of everything the campers have learned will take place on the last day of camp from 2:30-3:30pm, followed by a reception and gallery showcasing each camper’s artwork.

With small class sizes, individualized attention and skill-building, and experienced instructors, Camp Monarch is incredibly popular each year and 2023 is no different. Their camps are 80% sold out already! Register today to secure your child’s spot and watch their creativity soar with Camp Monarch.
