Everyone is invited to the 23rd annual Eastside Culture Crawl. The Cultural Crawl is a Vancouver beloved tradition. Over four days the general public is invited into 500 + artists studios, homes, and garages throughout Vancouver’s Eastside in celebration of visual arts, design, and crafts. Boasting its largest line-up of artists, venues, and events to date, the “Crawl” will welcome more than 35,000 visitors to intimately experience this vibrant and inspiring neighbourhood. Did you know that East Van is actually the most densely populated community of artists across Canada?
New for 2018 is a series of workshops and demonstrations in pottery, live chainsaw carving, natural textile dyeing, and glassblowing to deepen patrons understanding of the unique art-making process.
The Eastside Culture Crawl also offers Crawling For Kids where Melk Art & Design will hold a free afternoon of hands-on creativity for all children. Participants will get the opportunity to create collaged cards and paper artworks using custom designed, nature inspired stamps. This event is first come first serve.
The Eastside Culture Crawl is a FREE event.
