Watch countries compete in the most highly anticipated matches live on the big screen surrounded by community members, family, and friends! Kids will enjoy playing their own soccer games, participating in community activities and activations, and making crafts. Enjoy live music, food trucks, and a beer garden (for the 19+ crowd!)

Richmond:
Join the City of Richmond in celebrating the arrival of the World Cup festivities with a range of community events, including a picnic, live performances, children’s activities, and watch parties. The festivities kick off on June 12 with all School District 38 classrooms and students being invited to the Olympic Oval for a day of soccer, play, and activities. Later in the afternoon, the public is invited to join a BBQ, watch the first Canada match, and participate in activities. UBC Properties Trust brings the excitement of the global soccer stage to Wesbrook Village with Soccer in the Square, a free, all-ages outdoor viewing experience. Catch live matches on the big screen at Norman MacKenzie Square, where fans can gather under a shaded tent with picnic seating to cheer on their favourite teams.
