CTORA Theatre

At CTORA Academy, your child will sing, dance, act, and build a professional-quality production from September -March, culminating in three performances per cast for each of the two shows at the Pal Studio Theatre in March 2024. Through working with a professional production team, your child will learn about teamwork, the process of putting together a full-scale production, and the fundamentals of musical theatre. This year, two different shows are being offered: “The Grunch” for students in grades 4-7 and “Mean Girls, Jr.” for students in grades 8-12. Choose from either the Vancouver or Richmond location for rehearsals.

If you have a child between the ages of 6-18 years old that is looking for a place to have fun, develop close friendships, and increase confidence, then Gateway Academy has just what you are looking for! Gateway Academy classes are organized into Acting or Musical Theatre, and further grouped by age and ability. New this year, the Acting and Musical Theatre C-level for ages 14-18 classes will incorporate rehearsal and performance during the second half of the year, with the addition of technical elements (lights and sound) and a dedicated Tech Day to the year-end presentations.
