You’re invited! Starting May 30th, join us at Suwa’lkh School in Coquitlam to support our learning programs by buying fresh, ultra-local produce grown, harvested, and sold by youth on schoolyard farms. In addition to freshly harvested produce like blueberries, garlic, beets, kale, carrots and more, there are canned and processed goods available for sale including jam, dried herbs, garlic powder, and sometimes even naturally dyed cloth napkins. Our markets are one of our key learning opportunities for SOYL youth to gain invaluable pre-employment skills with all proceeds going back to our programming, so come and say hello to the youth who steward the veggies you purchase on the site where it is grown!
