Family Day is nearly here, and Old Hastings Mill Store Museum is hosting a fabulous event to celebrate the “Global Village.” Dress in your national costume, enjoy cookies and tea from around the world, see a ham radio demonstration hosted by the VECTOR Vancouver Amateur Radio Club, and make a carving from Brazilian soapstone! Visitors can also make a Valentine’s Day greeting that will be mailed to the UN General Assembly Headquarters. Entrance is free, but there is a small cost for the Brazilian soapstone activity.
