Summer Concerts in Metro VancouverSummertime, outdoors, and live music…the combo is like a peanut-butter and jam sandwich, they are meant to be together! In cities all across Metro Vancouver, outdoor summer concert series are offering up free (or nearly free) live performances throughout the summer. Mark your calendar, plan a picnic, and soak up the evening sun while listening to beautiful music.

Handpicked musical artists, performance stage acts, and artisan vendors, Jam in Jubilee can be described as fabulous community fun. Enjoy the FREE performances Thursday evenings throughout July.


VSO at Deer Lake Park – I think the whole city waits in anticipation for this yearly event. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra returns to Burnaby’s Deer Lake Park on June 30 for a FREE performance.

Come to Burnaby’s Civic Square for the Summer Concerts series. Performances run Thursdays through July and start at 7pm. The live entertainment is FREE.


The Concerts in the Park series returns to Delta for 2019. There are only a few performances this year: July 3, 12, 17, 30 & August 16, 22 & 27. Please make sure to double check the start time as well as the location as it changes for every performance.


Summer Festival Series happens almost every Thursday night, through July & August, in the Township of Langley. Admission is FREE, just bring something to sit on. Don’t miss the July 11th concert which is for the kids! Activities, magic shows, and Grammy award-winning performers make this event extra special.

Maple Ridge:

The beloved Music on the Wharf concert series happens 4 times throughout the summer. Admission is by donation and the proceeds benefit the Maple Ridge Historic Society.

New Westminster:

Head to Westminster’s Pier Park every Thursday through July for Music on the Wharf – FREE musical performances as well as beach volleyball courts, hammocks, basketball courts and stunning views of the Fraser River.

Port Moody:

Come to Rocky Point Park for Summer Sundays! The FREE blues, soul, funk, R&B and reggae concerts on Sundays run throughout the summer! The concerts start at 2pm and everyone is welcome.


Every week Music in the Cannery will feature a different musical act, catering to a wide range of musical tastes, from blues, jazz, folk and more!


Surrey Sounds of Summer Concert Series – Wednesdays through July and August, the City of Surrey hosts FREE outdoor concerts at various parks around the city. The music style & performers is different for every show. Arrive early, explore the park, bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the music. Please note that most venues don’t permit pets.
