Are you ready to ROCK this summer? Then School of Rock Vancouver is the place to be! If you have an emerging star on your hands, enroll them in one of the incredible Summer Camps offered and encourage them on their journey.
At School of Rock, the music programs are designed to get kids on stage performing while building a strong musical proficiency. Experienced and encouraging instructors will help students develop basic competence in the instrument of their choice in a fun atmosphere. With a combination of one-on-one lessons and group band practices, your rockstar will be performing on stage in no time! Students enrolled in summer camps will get a break in the sunshine during the week with some outdoor walks and time at the playground with their instructors.
Summer Camps are the perfect time to enrich your child’s musical journey or try out a new instrument. With camps for beginners and experienced musicians, there is something for everyone! Space is limited in each of the camps, so register early to secure your spot.
Rock 101 (ages 7-11): This camp is designed for beginners who want to learn an instrument and play with a band on stage. Throughout the week, students will learn and explore their instruments through a variety of fun activities and games. With the guidance of nurturing instructors, students will learn and work on songs from Monday to Friday, with a performance on Friday afternoon for family and friends. All instruments will be provided!

90’s Rock Music (ages 7-18): Ah, the 90’s. The hits produced during this time still rock the airwaves, and students are eager to learn the tunes they have heard their parents jamming to during school drop-off. If your child has some music experience and is interested in learning hits from the 90s, then this is the camp for them! Students in this camp will learn hits from bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer, and many more. A week full of learning will culminate in an exciting live performance on Friday afternoon for friends and family.

The Beatles Camp (ages 12-18): The Beatles greatly influenced the direction of modern music and students of all ages are drawn to their timeless hits. If your child or teen has some music experience or instruction, they will love this 5-day camp where they will learn some of the Billboard-topping classics from the vast collection of The Beatles hits. A Friday performance for family and friends will end this week of learning.

Pop Legends (ages 12-18): Let your inner pop star shine as you belt out material from some of the best pop stars in the business. Students will love learning and performing top hits from Aretha Franklin, Taylor Swift, and Kelly Clarkson, just to name a few! A Friday performance for family and friends will end this week of learning.

Classic Rock Rewind (ages 12-18): Rewind the hands of time with this totally groovy 5-day camp that will have students rocking out to some of the best classic rock tunes from the 60s and 70s. Campers will study and perform music from icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and more.
