And it’s also about building strong relationships with friends, family, and community, while having a great time. Plus, 4-H Alberta has summer camps where kids and teens will learn and grow while creating wonderful summer memories!
4-H has been a popular youth institution in Alberta since 1917. Encompassing head, heart, hands, and health, its holistic approach to growth gives kids an advantage that lasts into adulthood. Over the years, the program has developed to give both urban and rural youth lifelong skills like leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, community service, and more. They do this through a huge variety of activities to appeal to kids of all interests, from STEM to agriculture and arts to active living.
