Earth Science for Society (Family Fun Calgary)

Earth Science for Society (ESfS) is a fun, educational, and dynamic geoscience event where students, families, youth groups, and the public are given an opportunity to explore Earth Science fundamentals.

At this free, family-friendly event, you are all invited to visit four themed pavilions including Energy for Us, Resources and You, One Dynamic Earth and Our Future! This event showcases hands-on, interactive exhibits demonstrating the importance of the Earth Sciences in everyday lives. During the event, geoscience volunteers actively guide youth groups and junior high school students through the exhibits, providing opportunities to learn about Earth Sciences and about potential career opportunities.

Time: March 17 (11:30 am – 5 pm), March 18 (8:45 am – 2:30 pm & 6 – 9 pm), March 19 (8:45 am – 2:30 pm)
