The Sewcial Hub Summer Camps: Get Creative and Get Sewing!

What if you could plan a summer filled with fun? A summer where your child can enhance their creativity and learn real-life skills? Forget kids sitting around on screens, getting bored and cranky, and needing a snack 10 times a day. The Sewcial Hub summer camps are exactly what they need!

The Sewcial Hub wants to give kids a chance to try something new, engaging their imaginations and creativity, while they learn sewing skills they will use for their whole lives. They have a well-equipped sewing studio and all the supplies necessary. Their camps are designed to inspire your kids and develop their interest in sewing and crafting.

Summer Camps

What is the benefit of sewing? Well, besides the obvious, sewing improves fine motor skills, creatively encourages self-expression, aids problem-solving, uses math skills, improves focus, and builds confidence!

Campers will learn the basics of sewing, from using a sewing machine to installing closures. They will design their own creations, learn how to add notions, and build their skills as they go! Kids can explore projects like bags, accessories, and clothing. At the end of the week, campers will put on a mini fashion show, showcasing their wonderful work. Of course, days will be filled with sewing, but also crafts, games, and lots of laughter with new friends!

Summer camps at The Sewcial Hub run weekly through July and August. You can choose from full days and morning or afternoon half days. There are two age groups, as the camp is available for kids ages 7 – 12 and teenagers ages 13 – 17. No previous experience is required and kids will be encouraged to express themselves as they explore a variety of projects.
