Winter Wordplay, presented by YouthWrite Society Canada, is an exciting weekend camp designed for young writers who are passionate about creative writing. Participants are invited to take part in fun wordplay, engaging workshops, and classic YouthWrite traditions, all led by highly qualified staff, plus work with guest artists Darrin Hagen (playwright) and Kelly Turner (improviser). YouthWrite camps are known for offering an inclusive and welcoming environment that encourages every young writer to express themselves and connect with others who share their passion. There are two options: a Daycamp for ages 10 to 19, and an Overnight Experience for ages 12 to 19. The camp fee covers tuition, supplies, meals, snacks, evening entertainment, and, for those participating in the Overnight Experience, accommodation.
