There’s fun for the entire family at Canada Golf Card Driving Range and Mini Golf! Our foursome all had a great evening when recently invited out to play a round of night time mini golf and hit some balls at the driving range.

Mini golf has always been a fun and easy activity to enjoy with our kids, no matter what their age. Now that they have gotten older and better at it, it is nice to have more competition on the scorecard. The Canada Golf Card mini golf course had been on my radar for us to check out this summer, but was something we did not get around to. I was excited to see on Facebook that they were offering the opportunity to play in the glow of the lights now that the darker fall evenings are upon us.

We started off our game with normal golf balls, but were delighted when we were offered to switch over to the new glow balls. They added an extra whimsical touch as we hit them through the silly obstacles at each hole! The unseasonably warm temperatures and music pumped throughout the outdoor venue also added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere.

All four of us had a great time playing through the 18 unique holes on the course. I don’t know if the adults or kids were more excited when we somehow all managed to get a hole in one at some point in the game! It is just too bad none of them were on the last hole where we would have won a free pass for our next visit.

After our round of mini golf, we headed back into the pro shop where they set us up with a large bucket of balls and an appropriate sized driver for each family member to use on the driving range. It has been several years since either my husband and I have been on a golf course and it felt great to hear that familiar ting as I made contact and sent the ball soaring out into the field!

Even if you have little or no previous golf experience, it is fun to take a swing at the driving range. The kids were both excited to try it for the first time and my 11 year old son took to it quite easily thanks to his experience swinging a baseball bat.
