The sky is not the limit with our Aviation Career Exploration (ACE) Summer Camps! Young flight enthusiasts are invited to soar at the Elevate Aviation Learning Centre this summer and discover the thrill of aviation through exciting hands-on learning opportunities and exclusive behind-the-scenes airport access.
ACE Summer Camps are a one-of-a-kind experience for curious and adventurous youth aged 10 to 13 years. Campers will spend a full week at the Edmonton International Airport embarking on a fun and interactive journey into the world of aviation and aerospace. Whether your child dreams of becoming a pilot, an air traffic controller, an aircraft mechanic, or just loves things that fly, they’ll have a blast seeing and being part of the bustling action.

What to Expect at ACE Summer Camp
Explore Real Aviation Careers
Through the program, participants will enjoy special access to behind-the-scenes areas of the airport like the maintenance hangars and the main terminal. Campers will have the opportunity to meet real professionals from the industry and learn firsthand what it’s like to work in one of the most exciting and in-demand fields!
Immersive Hands-On Learning
From flight simulations to drone flying, campers won’t just learn about aviation, they’ll experience it. Topics covered throughout the week will include everything from the four forces of flight to space exploration. Interactive workshops and STEM-focused activities will help build skills and confidence, while opening the hangar doors to exciting career paths in aviation.
Inspiring Mentors
ACE Summer Camps are proudly led by experienced Elevate Aviation Learning Centre facilitators, and supported by industry professionals. They aim to provide an empowering, inclusive environment where campers are encouraged to ask questions, explore interests, and think big!

Each week-long ACE Summer Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the Elevate Aviation Learning Centre, with transportation to various sites throughout each day will be provided by YEG Airport shuttles. Campers should come prepared with a packed lunch and water bottle, and be ready to meet new friends and have fun!
