Shumka’s Ancestors and Elders is returning to the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for one show only! On Friday, March 8, 2019, this powerful production will be back on stage. Shumka dancers and Indigenous artists collaborate in this powerful production that tells the story of Ukrainian newcomers to Canada and their shared values and respected differences with Canada’s First Nations people. This remarkable production features a creative team of over 70 dancers, musicians, artists, storytellers and designers!
