Blarney Stone Farms Summer Camps

Blarney Stone Summer Camps are open to children aged 6 and up (approximately 4 feet tall), making them the perfect summer experience for young horse enthusiasts. All levels of experience are welcome, and weekly sessions are kept to just 14 campers, ensuring personalized attention and instruction. Campers are thoughtfully grouped by riding ability, so everyone can progress at their own pace.

Each action-packed week runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, offering campers a blend of daily riding sessions and hands-on horsemanship activities. When not in the saddle, campers dive into engaging lessons on horse care, safety and groundwork, along with fun games and fascinating horse facts that make learning a true adventure.

The excitement builds all week and culminates in a special Friday afternoon show, where parents are invited to watch their children showcase the new skills they’ve learned. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate each camper’s achievements and the memories they have made throughout the week.

For safety and comfort, campers need to bring the right footwear. English boots with a one-inch heel are best for riding, but running shoes are fine when not on horseback. All riders must wear a certified riding helmet, which you can find at a local tack store. Campers should also pack a lunch, snacks and plenty of water to keep energized throughout the day. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget essentials like sunscreen and bug spray for outdoor activities.
